What is Gestalt-therapy?

Gestalt therapy is a humanistic and holistic approach that emphasizes self-awareness, and present-moment experience, with the goal of helping individuals to lead more fulfilling relationships, rewarding life and a greater sense of well-being.

In this regard, Gestalt-therapy will notably contribute to:
– regulate your emotions,
– increase your self-knowledge,
– feel more at peace with yourself,
– be more connected to your body,
– live more nourishing relationships.

Gestalt therapy favors a progressive learning of abilities to continually adjust to a changing environment.

Who is it for?

It is recommended for a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, panic attacks, relationship issues, and self-esteem problems.

Gestalt therapy can among other things help you to:
– get out of repetitive patterns,
– identify your inner resources,
– resolve inner conflicts,
– strengthen your inner safe,
– freeing speech and emotions,
– increase self-esteem and self-confidence.

Over the sessions, a new sense of self can emerge, more able to fully engage in life.

How does a Gestalt-therapy session work?

A Gestalt therapy session is a privileged time and a confidential space to take care of yourself.

It is a precious moment to welcome your inner world and suffering, to explore your way of being in this world, to gradually release your pain.

In Gestalt therapy, the therapist encourages the client to fully experience their bodily sensations, emotions, to explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, in order to better understand her/himself and her/his ways of interacting with the environment.

The therapist may use a variety of experiments to help the client explore and gain insight into what she/he is experiencing, including role-playing, visualization, and other interactive exercises, so that the client can develop new perspectives and self-awareness.

A session lasts 50 minutes and the price is 70 EUR (check, cash, Lydia app, or wire transfer). The days and addresses where sessions occur in Paris 15th are indicated on the « Contact » page of this website.
